Colin’s professional experience has focused on environmental analysis and design within the disciplines of landscape architecture and natural resource management.

At Satre Associates, Colin has worked conjunctly with the Environmental Services, Planning, and Landscape Architecture studios. His work has included open space planning, community and neighborhood planning, wetland delineation and functional assessments, site analysis and environmental assessments, design development and construction documents, and urban and neighborhood design. In addition, Colin has extensive experience in federal, state, and local regulatory coordination and permit processing.

At the University of Oregon, Colin’s thesis project (Port of The Dalles, Transforming the Riverfront, 2001) focused on the design and development of a sustainable regional multiuse node, including commercial, industrial, residential, and public recreation uses within a rural community in Eastern Oregon.

Colin is a skilled graphic designer proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Page Maker, Illustrator, GoLive and other forms of graphic and document publication. At Satre Associates Colin has authored and developed many the firm marketing and resource materials, including the firm profile and brochure. Colin also designed, implemented, and currently maintains the firm website.

His skills also include proficient working knowledge of ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and numerous other software applications.
