Prior to her graduate studies, Lindsay worked as a field science instructor for the Keystone Science School in Colorado. There she taught a variety of topics, including snow science and forest ecology to middle and high school students. Lindsay also served as an educator with AmeriCorps, teaching about waste and recycling at one of the Bay Area's largest waste transfer stations. During her AmeriCorps service, Lindsay assisted in several illustrations for the Manual of Grasses at the UC Berkeley Department of Horticulture.

Lindsay comes to Satre Associates with a diverse background in teaching, environmental science and illustration. These combined interests, as well as an internship with the Oregon Department of Land Conservation and Development in 1999 helped guide her towards the field of landscape architecture.

At Satre Associates Lindsay currently assists the Landscape Architecture Team on a variety of design projects. Her areas of interest include ecologic design, interpretation, and urban parks. Lindsay is drawn towards the use of design as a tool to enrich the built landscape and connect people with the natural environment. In addition to her passion for education and the natural world, Lindsay's skill in digital graphics and illustration adds depth to the production staff.
