Tim comes to Satre Associates following Internships with the City of Springfield Planning Department, Lane County Community and Economic Development Department, and University of Oregon Community Planning Workshop.

While with the Community Planning Workshop, Tim's work included fiscal impact analysis of annexation proposals for the City of Redmond, Oregon; economic research for the University of Oregon Resource Innovations program; and a parks scoping project for the City of Canby, Oregon.

While with Lane County, Tim coordinated a Mapleton Water District customer survey and a Lane County project funding needs and issues inventory.

At Satre Associates, Tim works with the Planning and Landscape Architecture teams on various development projects. His work includes research and analysis of rural and urban land-use issues for individual and corporate clients.

Prior to his transition to the planning profession, Tim was an award-winning news reporter and photographer working for The Springfield News.

Combined with his years as a news reporter, Tim's experience in research, analysis, and technical writing provides added depth to client land use applications.
